Hi mums thanks for your advice. to clarify it was 2 weeks after we had sex that i did first preg test which was negative. Had the normal period, severe cramps, back ache the lot. No sex since dec. Havent had sonogram yet as doc has requested 2 blood tests get the results thursday to see if my HCG levels are going up. Fingers crossed it works out and we can make sense of all this.

You can have a regular period while you are pregnant. You can have them only early on or you can even have them the whole time you are pregnant. Did you get sonogram to measure the size of the baby? If you had sex in mid december then that is when got pregnant. Sometimes, it takes a few days before the fertilized egg implants in the uterus and sometimes it takes that long for the sperm to reach the egg. Since you are pregnant, this is something your fiance will have to deal with. If he really loves you he will stick by you no matter what and not pressure you into anything you do not want. You need to do what is right for you and the baby and hope your fiance is man enough and loves you enough to support whatever decision you make. My ex-husband had always told me he didn't want anymore kids, but we ended up having four together.
