Hi moms, I just wanted to get your view with mums and drinking! I feel like others these days think I'm so boring as I choose to stay in and look after my child and not pass her into my mum who deserves her own life. Don't get me wrong, I do go out a few times a year and love it when I do. I'm just worried as I know quite a few moms who work all week and go out every night at the weekend or go away every other weekend? How do you feel about this? I can't help but feel bad for thier kids as this is sure to have an en effect on then in years to come? By the way, these ladies are in thier 20s and 30s. Thank you x

I think it's important for parents to have date nights and for the children to learn that a parent is allowed a night off but I just worry with these moms who just haven't grown up! It's just so sad, thank you x

I totally agree with you, my husband and I spend as much time as possible with the kids when we are not working however we try to have a date night at least once a month even if all it includes is us going grocery shopping without the youngest one as the rest can stay home without us. This way we still get some us time every once in a while and our kids get us the rest of the time.
