Hi my daughter just had noah 1mnth - he is soo hungry all the time - he has 5oz bottles every 3 hrs and still wants more - we give him water but he doesnt seem to pooh much - please help the midwives have changed since i had my last 12 yrs ago ??

A 1 month old should not be given any water, it's very dangerous. If he seeks hungry then try feeding him more, make sure that its not something else like gas, or tired that's causing his fussiness.

I would be very concerned of any doctor who recommended giving a 1 month old water heat or no heat.....

And actually no, water is NOT good for babies. it fills them up and then they don't eat what they should be. Your doctor is not current.

Feed more frequently and try 6 oz. When they are going through growth spurts, they eat more, and more often,

Thanx Amy we are changing his milk tomorrow for hungrier baby formular and giving him water is fine - the doctor has agreed especially in this heat :)
