We have had the pleasure of our full-time, live out Nanny "Jom" for over a year and a half, for our 2 kids ages 3 and 1. We are moving out of New York, and unfortunately, will not have the pleasure of having Jom as our nanny. So, I am trying to help our nanny to find a good home!
I would recommend anyone looking to hire a full-time nanny hire her immediately. Over the course of her employment, she was NEVER late, stayed after hours whenever asked, worked extra days when needed, and ALWAYS went the extra mile. These traits were very important for my husband and I since we both have full-time, demanding careers. Above all, Jom developed a relationship with our two daughters that has helped shaped them to be bright, caring, and most importantly very happy little girls. Specifically, she has read to them, sang songs, scheduled and coordinated school arrangements and play dates, and even taught them a little Thai! (Her native language)
Hiring a nanny and trusting your children with someone you barely know is a very stressful process. I hope you trust these words and know Jom will be a wonderful addition to any family that is fortunate enough to hire her. Should you have any questions regarding her experience, or ours with her, I would be happy to provide details. Please know she has our unconditional endorsement and you will be glad that you decided to give her an opportunity.
