hiii, i have a five month baby and she is taking cows milk from the last two days and i can see her cheeks are very red from the last two days as if there is some allergy,she is taking formula from the day she was born and took breastmilk very less in tjhe first one and half month only,can anyone let me know dat the allaergy can occur due to cow's milk or not

Agree with the other two ladies. Cows milk should not be given to a child until the child is AT LEAST 12 months old. There are actually many very serious complications in addition to allergies that can occur from giving it to her so early.

Continue to give her only formula or breastmilk until she is at least 12 months old. You should also take her to a doctor immediately to make sure she is okay.

True, What Sarah said. Cows milk should not be given until at least 12 months of age. Of course allergies are possible, but so are other complications from the early introduction. There are alternatives to formula that are safe, but you should only take recommendations from your child's doctor.

NO, that is why she has the reaction she does. Cow's milk is not to be given until 12 months. It also does not have the right nutrition for her brain and health to grow properly.........PLEASE USE ONLY FORMULA OR BREASTMILK UNTIL 12 MONTHS!
