I am interested in hearing from homeschool parents who work full time. My son has a diagnosis of severe anxiety AND ADHD. The schools have no idea of how to handle the anxiety. The noise is too loud for him, etc. He has been mistreated by teachers. I put him in a school for special needs although he has not learning disability and can usually stay in a classroom with an understanding teacher like he had last year. Although he is in a special school, they have met with me and said they are not a fit for him. He's introverted and non-aggressive. They have a hard time encouraging him to do his work and staying in the group in the class. He gets up and walks to the door and stands. He came home last week with bruises on his stomach and the martial arts teacher made his nose bleed. I want him out especially now that Child Protective Services will be involved.
Any advice? My son is adopted so I am a single mom.
