Morning ladies

I hope all of you are well, I would like to share how good and reliable my nanny is. we have moved to a new place and she has been so hands on with the kids and the households, I have been so stressed with personal stuff and work but my kids are very happy. When I returned from work yesterday everything was unpacked and sorted.

Thanks God for my nanny, unfortunately she will not last long since she wants to further her nursing studies next year Jan :(.

Most people don't have nannies here - it is a rich person's privilege.

We have someone new starting at the end of the month, she's a family friend from church actually so I'm feeling hopeful :-)

Thanks mothers for your responses, @Sarah....I believe the baby's senses the heart of a person I think the nanny doesnt have a good heart or maybe stressed about something even your own baby cries a lot when you are not in a good space.

All the best with finding the good nannies. @ Vuyo try to get someone with experience with babies.

Hi, lovely mums,

My baby is now 7months. I had a good nanny too for 4 months. She was so nice and bonded well with the baby. I got one but problems is the baby cries alot when i leave in the morning and she does not seem to love the baby so much. Please mums advise me.

Having a god nanny is the most comforting feeling when you're a working mom like i am, unfortunately mine left to get to married and i've been struggling to find another one of her caliber, i've already had 3 since the first left who haven't worked out :-(

I am a full time nanny and a full time mother.. I bring my daughter with me to the family's house. I've been with them for 6 years now and now 4 kids. I plan to stay with them until I am able to have another baby, but still hope to see them and be in their lives after all that. there is just no way I'd be able to bring a 2nd of my kids into the craziness it already is. lol. Plus we don't have a vehicle to transport everyone! I love being a nanny, and I love the kids, and really love being able to bring my daughter. She loves the boys and really has no idea she is an only child!

It is nice when someone works out for the family. She sounds like a delight to have around.
We don't have one, but having someone you trust stay home for you to help raise your children is nice :)

A lot of people in the US have nannies.
Not as many people had them when I was growing up, most people had a parent that stayed home to care for the kids. Now, a lot of families have both parents working, but daycare hours are inconvenient, care is impersonal, and a lot of people just don't like them, so they use nannies instead.

Our old nanny still works for us as a sitter occasionally when my husband and I go out for dates and such. She was wonderful, and is still very much a part of our lives, even though she is no longer our full time nanny. Most nannies don't expect to be nannies forever, but we lucked out that I was planning to quit working about the time she planned to move on. I could not have worked if we hadn't had our wonderful nanny. I think it is very important to find someone you click with, and are comfortable with, and trust. It's not easy--we must have interviewed over 80 applicants, but I knew right when I met her, she was the one....that didn't stop me from doing all the background checks, and other sureties though.
