My son is 5 and in kindergarten. Hes a late december baby so he's one of the youngest in his class. He has always been a bright boy. He knows his abc's and counting, all the usual. The issue or should I say issues we've been having is him comprehending numbers. I.E pointing out what the number 10 looks like etc. He can do it when he really wants to, but I feel he just needs to focus more at school. Theyre doing everything to help, hes also getting some one on one time to help him better understand. My question is, after trying everything, and feeling my patience fleeting what can I do at home that can make it easier for him to understand? Have any other had this issue. I know hes still only in kindergarten, but I would like for him to feel less frustrated when he "can't" do it. I know he can, any tips would be helpful.
