Where to start, although I don't want to think I've failed my daughter but I need to stop breast feeding her, I've tried all different bottles, feeders none work, she will go all day without a feed from me as she eats and I try all sorts to give her water, but at night she is constantly on my boobs, been there since birth

Quoting Lisa:

Do you have access to hale's breastfeeding medcations book?

Most vaccines are safe to get while breastfeeding. And yes, it's not going to do anything about HPV you have already contracted.

I know you can look through it on Amazon if you've purchased something from there.  Anyone here done that and can look up Depakote for the OP?

She shot wont prevent the HPV you already have. It will only protect you from HPV that you don't already have. So getting the shot is not going to prevent you from having your cancer come back.
As for the seizure drug. Try googling the "depakote and breastfeeding" or "seizure medications and breastfeeding". Don't expect your doctor to be entirely up to date on all of the drugs that you can or can not take during breastfeeding. Be your own advocate!

Most medications have a breastfeeding safe alternative. Doctors just aren't versed on them. Do some online research and talk to La Leche League.

the reason why i want to stop him is because of my health issues. I go back and forth from the doc, and all these meds im takin, i don't want in his bloodstream. I tried to wein him 4 times and he always convert right back to my breasts. He is demanding it.I need to stop as soon as i can but he won't let me...

Have you looked in Medications and Mother's Milk to see what the actual transfer rate and safety level of these medications are?  I know doctors will often say you have to wean when on such and such medication when the opposite is true. FTR, I breastfed for 18 months on Zoloft, Ritalin (and later on, Adderall XR)

my baby just stopped exclusively breastfeeding and is now drinking formula from a bottle at 22months! he's been drinking from a regular glass or cup since he was about 9months old but i couldn't get him to stop breastfeeding. i realized he finds great comfort in breastfeeding and i did, too. breastfeeding was our very special moment together. but then my work load had doubled and i was slowly realizing that i had to let my baby grow and sop breastfeeding so we had a sit-down. we talked..mostly i talked and he would just smile back and giggle, but that night i knew he understood what we had talked about. he put his head on my chest, breathed in hard and then clasped his hands together and never asked for me to breastfeed him again! i was so happy and proud of him!

so i suggest you take your time to do this. think about why you want to stop breastfeeding and if you honestly believe that its what is best for you and your baby then go for it.

you can start weaning by introducing him to other sources of liquids like a sippy cup. try ones with cute colors and character designs that your baby likes. if you haven't introduced him to solid food yet, you should start already. this will help his body and train his mind that food doesn't only come from mommy and that it can taste and feel different, too.

good luck! =D

With my eldest daughter i started by cutting out her lunch time feed and gave her a small sipper cup with water in it and a little extra solids to eat for lunch. Aftter she was into that rutine i then cut out one more at a time doing the same as before eg.i cut out her mid mornig one and then avo one (and replaced with water and solids) till she was just breast feeding at 5am and at her bed time. Then when she was 13 months and happy to drink some watered down milk i gave her a sipper cup with the milk in it at bed time and she was happy with this, slept very well and stopped waking up for that 5am feed..
