I dont want her to grow the habit, it has even gotten to a point that she takes out her pacifier to put her hands in her mouth. How can I cut off this habit???.. it's driving me crazy....

I am not a fan or the pacifier of finger in mouth and after a month I took the pacifier away from my child, and she started sucking her hand, I then placed a sock on her hand and left it them ..clean sock, she would suck on it ,and I would change it over and over until she realize ..its a sock I cant get that hand .. she gave up .. sorry its not something that ends over night I would get rid of both if I was you and let your baby learn her natural instincts of comforting herself.

She only likes her pacifier when is time to sleep or nap. Otherwise she sticks her tongue to remove it. I guess I'm going to have a lot of work later on cutting off this habit, if it becomes one.

You don't. At 2 months old sucking is a need. I prefer the pacifier since it can be taken away at some point and my two 'binky addicts' approved of it. Your child apparently prefers her hands.

Sucking is a need for her and if it's not breast, bottle, or pacifier.... it's going to be hands/fingers/toys.
