how can i get my 2 year old to brush his teeth without a fight?

ok a couple of different things i have found to make it more fun
one is they have the toothbrushes that have lights that only stay lit for 2 minutes (the amount they should brush) then goes off, so turn off the lights and see if he can brush all his teeth before it turns off make it a game of sorts. Since he only has half the teeth he can beat it for now. but they do like to brush watching the light in the mirror.
Get a sand timer (most dentists have them just ask ) and see make a game to brush all the teeth when the sand runs out (the sand timers are one minute so with the mount of teeth he has the one minute would be fine)
They have musical tooth brushes dance while brushing. it stops when its time to stop brushing. I would sing to the music and dance with them.
Brush your teeth with him as he brushes his. so he can see its a 'family' thing.
Get act its fun tastes yummy and if he does swallow some its ok then tell him he only gets to swish if he brushes. it worked for one of mine. (I am just trying to remember what has worked with mine I have four so i tried any tricks lol)
Try different temps of water sometimes the temp isnt right and makes it uncomfortable.
Maybe have him brush yours then you brush his.
let him pick out his toothbrush, a special rinse cup then he feels a sense of ownership over it.
Good luck Ill keep thinking if i can remember anything else ill be back :D
