Jealousy in the most extreme way. It is normal for them to revert back to old behaviors for a little while but he his being violent that is totally not ok. He probaly feels like he isn't important anymore. The first thing I would do is make the time to focus on only him and let him feel he is important. Time out for the bad behavior 3 minutes.

I have a whole bag of tricks and I can give you more suggestions if you would like.

It could be ADHD or really anything but I am with you about labeling so young. Can your husband be home more to help. My husband used to work crazy hours for nothing more than to make more money. I finally told him I didn't mind the overtime but there had to be a limit. I needed him home to help me.

Set a schedule and stick to it. You have to make time for you in order for you to handle tantrums.

I have a several more things but I have to run right now. Thanksgiving is too close for me to not be in the kitchen preparing. I have 70 guests this year and so much to do still.

Talk to your husband about him being home a little more and I will post more things this weekend.
