All my son likes to eat is pizza rolls, cereal, poptarts, and eats nothing really healthy.

don't buy poptarts and stuff. just make food and if he doesn't eat it he gets a sandwich (or whatever) and nothing else.

Mine just eats crackers and he whines later that he's hungry so I tell him no dessert later. Then he eats the rest of his dinner. We do this everyday.Sometimes I don't even make brownies.

Has he tried YoCrunch yogurt yet? I know our kids loved it since they thought they were getting dessert (since it's topped with candy/cookies - you can see all the flavors at http://www.yocrunch.com). At least he'd be getting some calcium and vitamin D! Sometimes tricking them into eating healthy works :)

Stock the house with good food, model healthy eating and have him get involved with food preparation. If he likes cereal make him oats with honey and milk. Be positive about the change and dont let him dwell on the fact that there are no poptarts in the cupboard anymore.

We rarely buy junk food. If I don't want my kids to eat it, it doesn't come into my house. If they don't like what I've made for dinner, they can have a PB&J or cereal. You buy the food...your choices.

Don't buy them.... or limit them to once a week. My kids eat a lot of junk (I'll admit it), but they also eat and love a lot of healthy things. I do refuse to buy poptarts. They've never had them and it drives them crazy. ;)

Iagree, stop buying this stuff and then it doesn't become an option, you only HAVE good choices for him.

I'd agree with not buying those sorts of food so then it can be easier on you when you tell him no. You could also look into making healthy foods more fun for him. One easy way if he likes pizza is to buy wholemeal pita pockets and make your own pizza's so that why it's still something he really like but you can make sure its a heathier way of having it,same with cereal buy a healthier one. Fruit sticks are always a top choice with kids and they can dip them in yougart. He will most likely kick up a fuss about not having the foods that he always had but try to keep positive and set an example for him too so make sure your eating the same healthy food with him.Hope it works for you
