So my son was drinking formula for a while until he was about 2 1/2 months old, after that he did and still doesn't want nothing to do with cereal or formula. Socan I please get some advice? I'm a first time mom.

When my daughter was 10 months I started giving her 1 8oz bottle of formula 2 a week ( on my days off work, so I did not have to pump anymore). When I mixed it I used 2oz apple juice and 6oz water to sweeten up the bitter taste. If the juice was not added she would not drink the formula.

Have you tried letting someone else give him the breastmilk from a bottle. Often babies will not take it from mom, but are ok with someone else if you are not around. With the pumping it can be difficult at first but it can get easier the more you pump. And drinking lots of water is a must.

Well, I'm trying to get a job, so I can help my boyfriend support our little family. Here is the thing, I tried giving him my breast milk in a bottle, he won't take it, he won't take formula nor cereal anymore. And I'm running out of my breast milk. He loves eggs and rice. But just doesn't like formula, cereal, an once in a while he will eat gerber food, if I could I'd pump, and store the milk, but I don't have a whole lot to pump.

Is there a reason he can't continue to have the breast milk? It's the best for him and it's free.
