How can I get my 8 month old to feed properly after suffering from stomach spasms?

Can I get some advice please.
My 8 month old daughter has been having stomach spasms and as a result she has lost the will to eat all her bottles. I was instructed to change formulas til her stomach settles down, this I did, but she wouldn't touch it much at all and when instructed to put her back on her regular bottles the same thing happened. She also wont touch much of her regular bottles either.
I worry that she might lose too much weight before long as she is not feeding properly at all.
I saw the child health sister and she just contridicted what the doctor said. I was told little feeds but often and keep up with the hydrolite and solid feeding by the doctor, the maternal nurse said not to listen to the doctor and that I should just offer the bottles and solid feeds, she will get what she needs out of offering her normal feeds. What should I do???
Should I take my darling to see her paed as my gut instincts tells me this is not right???

I'd trust your doctor in this case but that's just me. There's obviously a reason for what his suggest with your daughters tummy troubles go with what he's said and just keep an eye on your daughter. Certainly trust your instincts.
