How can I get my daughter to sleep even though she took a late nap?
Suffer through it? Sorry, I know that's not much help. My son is almost 4. He doesn't usually nap and we go to bed around 7. He does nap at preschool on Monday's though. It's not usually TOO bad since I have to wake him most mornings, so he just falls asleep a bit later on Monday's, but a few weeks ago I had to fight w/ him (literally cuz he kept rolling on me and kicking me) for two hours.....
I hope she sleeps soon!!

The problem I am having she is full of energy because she fell asleep at 315 and did want to wake up until 6 pm this evening and now she wants to play and get into things and right I have to share a room with her because I don't have my own place yet.

When my (2yo) son takes a late nap, I let him stay up an extra hour and then just go with the normal bedtime routine to put him to sleep. If he's really fighting it, I know I must have left it too long and he's overtired, so I just say good night and close his bedroom door for him to fall asleep on his own. Usually he cries or fusses for a few minutes, and if he has a really hard time falling asleep he might be up for a whole hour. (I can hear him talking to his stuffed rabbit, that's how I know he's awake.) Eventually he falls asleep and is happy in the morning.
Good luck with your daughter!
