How can I get my husband to help

I'm stressing nursing my baby and getting no breaks . My son is almost four months and is basically only soothes by me !!! It's like a 24-7 thing and my husband just thinks he can let him cry it out ... Let me tell you he can't !!! He will scream and cry tears did 25 minutes straight in the car. I just feel like its not team work anymore . I do everything . Even if I pump and let my husband give him a bottle at night he said tonight that in being selfish letting him try and sooth him to sleep so I can have a break . Really ?!?!? Ugh what to do ?? I suggested the things that work for me ... But he just puts him down bc he's crying when he holds him... I just don't know what to do ... I felt like he would be more understanding especially with my ppd problems .

Not to sound bitchy, but really something you should have discussed prior to getting pregnant.

Sit him down, calmly explain what you need, and why, ask if he will be able to fulfill that, and if not, tell him you're hiring in home help.

Really sit down and talk about your idea of parenting, and let him tell you. Let him know how hard it is, and that you need more help. That leaving the baby to cry stressing you out more, and makes you get up when he said he would. Men seriously sometimes just don't understand that. When you can, leave him and the baby home together for a couple of hours to get a break. Even if it is just to go to the store alone. Sometimes it really is refreshing.
