I have a 2 week old daughter, in the last couple of days she has been constipated through the day and gets alot of pains and is very is unhappy. By late afternoon she does a poo that soils her clothes. I am bottle feeding. Can you recommend anything I can do or give her to help her poo earlier so she's not unhappy all day and can be at ease?

I was using Babies magic tea to relieve my baby's constipation. He used to strain and pull a lot while trying to poo but nothing used to come but only screaming. This tea helped us a lot and regulated his bowel movement.

I use to add just a little apple juice to my sons bottle til he would go. usually didn't take more then an ounce and he was pooing. I think its the natrual sugars, but you should check with your doctor.

Boiled water with a teaspoon of brown sugar is my recommendation. They is also a specific formula (will say on the label but I can not for the life of me remember the name nwo) that is specificlly designed for babies with constipation.

Talk to your doctor. But you might dilute her formula more or maybe the one she is on she is getting to much iron. Maybe massaging her stomach in a clockwise motion. Or maybe there is something other then iron in the formula that her body doesn't like.
