How can I keep these boots and bars on????

[deleted account] ( 4 moms have responded )

I'm at the end of my rope. My 7 month old daughter gets out of her boots and bars SEVERAL times a night. I sometimes put them back on 8 times a night! I've tried socks, no socks, double socks, putting the bar on when she sleeps....she just rubs her shoes up and down on the mattress until they are off or half off and then she screams and cries. She is not sleeping and we are exhausted. I don't know how I can do this until she is 4 years old....

Please help.

Are you talking about a positioning bar for orthopedic correction? We're struggling with a similar thing right now. Call your doctor and ask if they have any good suggestions, first. Second, maybe they can switch it to daytime use, even though it's harder for getting around and travel.

Maybe a sleep sack that would fit over everything? Or maybe loose sleepers with snaps that would fit over everything and snap around the bars?

What is putting the bar on? I've never heard of that. Footie pajamas? Sorry, not quite sure I understand the question.
