How can I make mommy friends in my area (Riverside, RI)?

[deleted account] ( 5 moms have responded )

I moved here right before I had my daughter.

I knew no one except my boyfriend.

I'm a stay at home mom.

I wish my duaghter could interact more with other babies,

and as for myself,

It would be nice to have other mothers around.

library is a great place- find out when they have story hour and normally there are mom/kids of all ages! Plus, even young babies can listen to the story/songs that are going on around them.

i went to the nearest mcdonalds and or usually have alot of moms with children of various ages who usually live within a couple mile radious. and the library usually has lots of free stuff for moms and kids of all ages.youll be sure to meet someone! : ).if its summer you can always try the pool or the parks.

is there like an early childhood thing in the school system in your area? The other option is to run an add: looking for parents that want to get out to local parks and meet other parents & kids. I have met several parents through our Early childhood classes.
