How a baby can learn alphabets, countings, name of body parts and name of main things in a house which he should knew about?

My grandfather taught me mainly by repetition of what I was playing w/ atm. He didn't force me to learn anything inwhich I wasn't playing w/. So if you can perhaps put some alphabet and numbers, books in play area and when he goes to grab at them , repeatively say the name, yet be sure not to go overboard, as that would lead to boredom.

Depending how old your baby is you might be expecting too much at his age. Make sure you know the developmental milestones and you don't have unrealistic expectations. Then it is just talking and repeating. Kids are sponges. Sing the alphabet song, talk about body parts when you wash them, play a game of where is your nose, etc. Learning should be fun and something that is just in your normal daily activities you already do......bath, meal times, etc.
