How did you lose your baby weight??

I'm just curious as I want to ease into an exercise program. Two babies in two years and two C sections has left me alittle marshmellow like! lol I'm breastfeeding and will continue for a year or so. I started watching my diet (food diary) and walking.



How did you lose your weight? Do you have any tips or advice?

I was looking a healthy and safe way to lose my post pregnancy weight and body fat without exercise and luckily found Mummy magic weight loss tea that helped me reducing almost all my pregnancy weight.

Hey Ladies!

Are you looking to get healthy, lose weight, improve your energy? Sounds great, right?

Let me tell you a little background on how I got here. My husband and I started the program in May of 2013. We were truly shocked at how easy this was and amazed by our results! I lost 20lbs in two months, and he lost 40lbs in 3.5 months.

If the pounds weren't enough to make me thrilled, loosing 4 inches in my butt and hips had me ecstatic! haha. The best part is we haven't gained it back. Our view on food is different and we are more active.

It was so incredibly easy to keep on board with the program. There is less than 5 min. prep time for the food, some are just open and go! I loved that I could toss a snack in my purse and not rely on finding a "healthy choice" on the go. Not to mention, cooking once a day was a nice break.

A combination of good ol' fashioned exercise, healthy lifestyle and diet, and lots of patience! :) I had my boys two years 17 & 16 years ago, and I'm now 45. My second delivery was emergency CS. I walked a lot around a track and field. I lost 50 lbs after my second baby and never looked back. It's hard work, but it's all worth it!

as long as you are eating heathy and doing some form of excersize then you shouldnt worry, when i had my son had put on 27kgs and he was born by emergency C, i asked them for a list of excersizes i could do and they gave me a leaflet, was easy going and i walked alot, got back to my prepreg weight in 6 months, the first 22kg was easy the restwas a bit harder, im just hoping i can do it again

I gained 49lbs with my daughter, who was born July 25 by emergency c-section. I dropped 30lbs almost immediately after she was born. Mainly because I was breastfeeding and a lot of the weight I had gained was due to an excess of amniotic fluid. I was all belly and it was huge! Right now I am not too concerned about the last 19lbs, mainly because my incision area is still quite tender, so I am just trying to eat three healthy meals a day with healthy snacks in between, such as almonds, fruit or veggies. And I try to get out for a walk with the babe every once in a while. I'm looking into getting Wii Fit for after I put her to bed, but I am in no hurry.

I had twins by emergency c-section at 28 weeks. I had put on an enormous amount of weight during pregnancy and it's only now, a year later, that it's starting to come off. I found it's taken a whole year to recover from the surgery enough so that I can exercise comfortably again. I can't really exercise during the day because the girls don't sleep at the same time, but after they've gone to bed I do WII fit and Fitness Coach (if I'm not too tired lol) and I'm following a high protein, low calorie diet. Also, pushing a double buggy with two babies weighing 24 lbs each helps lol. Good luck :)

Hi there,My first child was also delivered by a c-section and it took me two years after that to loose all the weight. That was because i started with the pill and my breastmilk stopped flowing just two months after delivery so i had to bottlefeed my baby and i just added weight during those first three painfull months after the c-section. I did try to exersice but it still hurt so my body wasn't just ready for that.But with my second it was all different as i had a normal delivery and breatsfed my son for 10 months and also ate mostly vegetable,fish and lots of fruit and also did lots of walking every morning. Just try and watch your food intake as breastfeeding is good and does help with loosing wieght but it also makes you very hungry and thirsty so keep a good eye on the food/fruit/snacks and liquid you take and before you know you will notice a difference in your dress sizes.Good luck hunxx

Run...and I mean run, just eat a healthy balance diet and do heaps of running I have had 5 kids & my last 3 were c-sections back to back and have suffered the fat issues after each baby... so I got hubby or a friend to look after the kids & I started slowly only doing 20 mins then got up to 2 hours I do this about 4 times a week if I am lucky but I have been able to lose over 63 kgs in the last 8 months but you have to be strict with your mind allow yourself to have a treat but know you have to work it off. My weakness is jelly beans & Dr Pepper but I know that will take me an hour run to burn off but it is so worth it... God luck & remember the key to weight loss is Mind over Body not Diet over Body!

Cut soda's out completely and drink 8-10 glasses of water recommended. Eat small servings of food. As long as you burn more calories than you take in and drink plenty of water, you will see results...QUICKLY!

um your doinq everythinq ii could thinq of eh doinq well =]

um could qet out and about walk to the park or around the block but yeah just don`t over do it , =] your doinq great ! it`ll qo eventually in time !

to be honest you sound like you have it all under control! swimming or if you're feeling energetic, aquaerobics is good. dont overdo it too soon though or you'll rip your stitches out! i lost 2 stone by counting my calories & yoga (on dvd whenever baby had a nap) as its gentle. your health visitor or midwife should be able to advise on how much is too much. hope that helps a bit? like i said though keep up the good work, it'll soon show.xx
