My husband of 6years has cheated on me & he's entire family knew about he's affair. His mistress goes to he's family home & washes, cooks & irons for them but nobody bothered to stop this. I found out about this over the weekend. I've decided that I cannot stay in this relationship anymore because he has cheated on me repeatedly with this same woman & this time its gone too far. I now need advice on how to break the news of separation to my 5year old son. He's very close to his dad & they absolutely adore each other & its really hurts me that he has to start learning to live with a single mom. He's been very emotional for the past 2days & I think he can sense that there's something wrong going on. My mom also mentioned that he just broke down & cried for no reason while she was with him yesterday. Please advice whether I should tell him myself or let he's dad do it or should we do it together. does he need to see a shrink about it? Or will he cope without any counseling? I really want this to be as gentle as possible on him as he might have to live at home for the rest of this year as I am going to be living alone & its quite far from he's school, he will live with me on a full time basis as of next year. Please advice moms
