how do I get my 18 month old off of the bottle at night?

As of right now our daughter will wake up & cry for a bottle about 4 to 5 times a night. Each bottle is about 7oz milk & 3oz water. That just seems like way too much to us! But if we don't give her the milk then she cries & screams for it until we can't take it anymore & finally give in. Please what can we do so she stays asleep & content without 5 bottles of milk a night & we can rest assured knowing she's alright? Help!

She should have been off that bottle at night a long time ago. Does she use a cup during the day? Did you know giving milk or other liquids with substance to them at night can cause tooth decay or other dental problems. Sugars build up over night with even just one bottle or cup taken to bed. Also that is a choking hazzard. She should be getting most of her milk consumption during the day. She needs to get her last drink of milk before she is in bed. You are going to have to stick to your ideas of getting her off this bottle at night and live through a lot of fits for a week or so until she learns she is no longer getting that bottle.
