I know it's our fault but she has been in our bed since day 1. Now how do I train her to sleep in her own bed?

Tricia, I forgot to say- before getting her into the bed have a family meeting and tell her (in words that make sense to her - give whatever reason is best for you) that she is old enough to sleep in her own room and that you are going to help her to do it.

Thanks Belinda. She does love her room and we play in it all the time. I will give it a try and see how it goes. Thanks again.

This is a tough one, but it IS doable.Just be prepared for it to take a few weeks, it isn't fair to expect her to sleep in her own bed in one night.

Firstly spend some time playing and having fun in her room for a few days, then - if she naps still- have her nap in her bed in the room. When she is comfortable in her room have a family meeting, tell her that it is time for her to sleep in her own bed in her own room and you are going to help her.

For the first few nights consider sleeping on the floor in her room and then for the next few nights sit in the room with her until she falls asleep..THere are a few other things you can do, but this should give you some ideas to get started. Good lluck!
