How do I get my 4 year old to be dry again throughout the nite? She was poorly a few weeks ago so I put a nappy on her as she was wetting the bed everynite. Now I seem to have dug a hole 4 myself!

I have a 3.5 year old and a 5 year old and both are in diapers at night. They have the odd night where they are mostly dry or completely dry, but otherwise, it is full. It takes time and it is not something you can push. I have heard some children take until 8 or 9 to be fully trained at night.

No you didn't. This is a normal part of potty training. My son went through this, and I know most moms on here will tell you the same. My son was completely potty trained for six months....then reverted back. Don't know why, but it is a process. He was about 3 1/2 when this happened. It took him about 3 months to fully get back on track.

Night time is always the most difficult to train for. Just keep using overnights, until she has 1 weeks worth of dry diapers. Don't worry, she won't be going to college in diapers.
