My daughter won't get up on time on school days. Every day we have to struggle to get her out of bed and to school on time. What approaches do other moms use that are effective in getting their kids out of bed on time?

My mom used to threaten dumping a bucket of water on us... lol. That worked. She might have actually had to do it once to get it to sink in... lol...

What time does she go to bed? Perhaps adjusting that would help.

Like I asked in your other post, what time does she go to bed?
My children know that if I have to call them more than once in the morning then they get an earlier bedtime. They keep that earlier bedtime until they prove they can get up.

Take things away from her? Such as certain activities, seeing friends, etc. Buy her an alarm clock, place it far away so she has to get up to turn it off. Don't baby her.

She has to report to school at 8:45. I attempt to get her up at 7:00 am. At 7:00 am she doesn't move. At 7:15 I make another attempt and tell her that she needs to get up and that today is a school day. I try again at 7:30. At 7:30, I forcefully tell her that she MUST get out of bed and that it is late. At this stage, I physically remove the blankets. She usually gets out of bed within the next 10 minutes.
