How do I get my 4 yr old to sleep in his own bed?
Hie just won't, unless someone sleeps with him! We have tried stuffed animals, his favorite toys,
rewards and down to bribing!
He never liked his crib or bed!!!

Try to change the bed somehow.
Also, say something about his sleeping routine. What he likes before he goes to sleep? It seems that he can't separate from you. At his age my daughter also didn't want to sleep alone. I red a book, then hug and fall asleep together, I came out from the room after she was deeply asleep. This was a very long period.

You are the parent right!!! You just say No and mean it!! We never started this when our kids were little so never had the problem. I can't understand why any one has this problem... When they moved to there big girls beds it was alot of work to get them just to stay in there beds but the only time the kids ever came into our beds was if they were up all night sick..and iI was exhausted... No one sleeps well if you are sharing beds.. Just lay down the law. He is old enough to reason with.. Try a reward..and mean what you say and say what you mean!!! And if he comes into your bed once or 20 times and night put him back in his bed EVERY time...If he knows he can get away with it he will! Good luck. Try Kevin Lemens book- how to make you child mind without losing yours..Lots of comesense advice there!
