How do I get my extremely mobile toddler to sit in a high chair for meals?

She sounds like a bundle of energy -- resisting anything that keeps her from moving around. :) Hm, I'm wondering if maybe you can designate some toys or books that are ONLY for when she sits in her high chair or booster seat? If you make it something really appealing and awesome, and that she has to stop playing with them when she's not in her seat, maybe it'll make the seat more appealing to her?

good point- the high chair does have a 5-point restraint and a tray, but she'll wiggle out of the straps across her chest and fuss, indicating that she wants out of the high chair, until we take her out. She either wants to sit in my lap or run around. We did start pulling the high chair right up to the table so that she is eating at the table with us. We were out at a restaurant for lunch today and she wanted nothing with the high chair or booster seat but rather to be on the ground moving around. I will not be eating out with her anytime in the near future as it's just not safe and she's my priority, not a lunch out! We've just hit this phase within the past week where she's resisting her high chair, naps, and bedtime too, so it's challenging! Stella has 2 very committed parents though so I know we will get through this!
