How do I get my four year old to stop wetting the bed?

my mom used to have this problem with my brother and she used to make him go to the bathroom before bed and would set her alarm and get up in the middle of the night to make him go again so that he had a pretty empty bladder. after a while he stopped wetting the bed all together and he would get up on his own if he had to go to the bathroom.

Sometimes you just have to wait until they are ready. Does your 4-year old still wear diapers/pull-ups to bed? I had to bite the bullet and send mine to bed in just his pj's. It took a couple of months and a lot of laundry, but now we're clear sailing and have no wet nights at all.

Well although I'm struggling with this too....we try to cut off all drinks after 6pm. And my kids go to bed at 8pm. And my daughter (which is 4) must go potty before bed. She seems to wake up dry most days. But sometime she helps herself in the frige without us knowing and gets a drink. And that kind of ruins it.

maybe there is something else wrong, I had a friend who couldnt figure it out, went to the dr and found out that it was a recurring UTI.

ok Im having a problem with my 4 year old. He has a speech delay. Hes peeing his pants I cut him off from liquids at 5 pm I get him up all night long and even if someones up in the morning and he knows it but wont get up to say I have to go potty he will just wrap himself in his blanket and say i didnt pee my bed cuz he didnt pee his bed he peed on his pants and blanket, Ive had to throw away his bed it was wrecked there was no washing it. His blankets I wash them over and over they still smell like pee. Im going to have to throw them away. He wants me to put a diaper or pull up on him so he can get away with it. Ive tried stamps on a calendar that worked for about a week. Ive tried to tell him if you dont pee you can have your brand new blanket or your sponge bob jammies he still pees his bed. I dont know what to do. Please Help!
