Our son is nearly 4 months old, and my baby and I started going to Mommy and Me programs 3 times a week so he can enjoy story/song/dance time and interact with other little ones. It goes on daily through the week, but once a month is a daddy and me day (dirt and worms, fishing, etc.) It's a way to get only dads out there to meet other dads and interact with all the kids. Now my husband works crazy random hours during the week (he works in trades) and is hardly home for our son, so I though this was a great opportunity, but my husband REFUSES to be apart of any groups. But when he is home, he just wants to "relax and watch T.V." or "catch up on his sleep", and refuses to help in the night or in the morning, unless I yell at him to be more helpful. I just want him to spend more time with our son because our son has already only gotten used to me with the playing and the feeding and the calming down, that he doesn't give my husband the chance before he starts screaming, then my husband gives up and passes him back to me. What activities or time can I offer to my husband to do to get involved in our baby's life??
