What foods does he eat now? Macaroni and Cheese, mashed potatoes are pretty good, and you can mix in vegetables with them without to much fuss (peas and corn). I would try to find foods that go with the theme of w/e it is he likes right now.

Pasta with fetticini sauce. Crackers, apple sauce. If he's losing weight I'd say give him a lot of the foods he likes so he can gain some weight.

To get him to eat new foods just keep introducing them and eating them in front of him but don't force him to eat it. Try to make sure he has foods from each food group and make sure he gets all his nutrients, even if it's from the same foods, especially since he's losing weight. Once he's started gaining weight again work more on trying to get him to eat a variety of foods.

If he doesn't start gaining weight take him to his doctor just in case.
