My 9 year old daughter is friends with everyone at school. She comes home from school complaining that some of the kids at school who are trouble makers always want to play with her and she doesn't know how to tell them she doesn't want to play with them because she doesn't want to be mean or get in trouble with the teacher. I have explained to her that she doesn't have to play with anyone she doesn't want to and to just tell them no. She is still worried that they will get mad and tell the teacher on her. Does anyone have any ideas on how to help her handle this? I have run out of suggestions for her. I have explained to her that she won't get in trouble with the teacher and that it's ok to tell other kids that she doesn't want to play with them, even if they get mad. As long as they don't get physically aggressive with her which she said she isn't worried about....... Help please!!!!
