Hi! I'm new to the community and looking for suggestions for sleep. I have a 6 month old and he has been up every 2 hours this week. He has co slept with us and now he is in a crib in our room. He's on solids but has a temperamental tummy since he was born. I'm currently doing the pick up and put down. I haven't had the heart to let him cry it out. I'm so tired, anything you can suggest?

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond to me. I appreciate your suggestions and I'm going to give them a go. Slept much better last night!

Well welcome. I am sorry you are not getting the proper rest you need to function. Crying it out... well that hurts moms more than babies. I would suggest lots of activity. The bouncer, swing, and lots of interaction. When he starts to doze off...more interaction! Stretch out the play time. Then a feeding and sponge bath routine. Maybe even sleepy time music. After awhile he will settle into a routine. But if he cries and you always respond with a pick up-that is what he will always come to expect. Good luck and try to get some rest. http://www.babycenter.com/0_baby-sleep-b...
