Depends on the baby, Jenni. Both my kids were exclusively breastfed and had one good poop a day as infants.

The rule of thumb for feeding a baby: Feed them as much as they want when they want. If they're wetting diapers, seem content, and are growing then you're feeding them enough.

Depends Katherine, breastfed babies usually don't have a lot of bowel movements. When my children were exclusively breastfed they typically only had 1 BM/week.

Wet diapers. If he is having wet diapers then he is getting his feeds in right. Also LOTS of bowel movements.

However much they like. Usually every 2-3-4 hours. If they're growing and happy then it doesn't really matter they won't starve themselves and they'll show hungry signals when they're hungry. Try not to obsess about it I've been there done that.
