How do I stop my daughter from ripping off her diaper?

My daughter, after every nap rips her diaper off and pees and poops everywhere. I know she is ready for potty training because we have been putting her on the potty for a while but she has yet to be consistent. How can I get her to stop doing this without duct taping her diaper on her :)

Here are a couple of options:

1. If you can find one in her size, put a onesie on under her pajamas -- it's harder for them to undo, so you'll probably hear her getting frustrated with it before she has a chance to finish the job.

2. Get a couple of cheap (or second-hand) one-piece sleepers in her size. Cut the feet off of them. Those are her napping sleepers. When it's time for nap, you put the sleeper on her, but put it on backwards, so that the zip is at the back. You might have to tailor the neckhole a bit so that it's not too high at the front of her neck.

I had an autistic foster son who was a houdini when it came to getting naked. He would crawl through the top of pajamas and onsies without unzipping or unbuttoning. He would then take off his diaper and poop and pee in his crib. I did resort to duct tape. There is nothing wrong with it as long as it's not too tight and the tape doesn't touch the skin. It works.

try putting on her diaper backwards. If that doesn't work try pull ups. Some pull ups are hard to rip off! hope this helps
