How do I stop my son from biting?

I have a 20 month old and he loves to bite. He only does it when he gets really excited and rowdy. I can't get him to stop and I have tried EVERYTHING! I don't know what to do. I am pregnant now and am due in 7 weeks. I'm very worried that he's going to bite the baby. Can anyone help me??

My son has been like that since he was about 5 months, he is now 15 months.
It really depends on the child as to how to deal. With my son if you say ow and ignore him he laughs and does it again. I have started tapping his mouth when he bites and saying "oh no". Oh no works for everything with him though. And when I tap it never hurts him, just enough for him to take a pause.
Sometimes I have had to put him in a different spot and walk away cause he won't stop. If he follows me then I say no, owie.
I have read that you pay attention to the person hurt and not the perosn doing the hurting.
Good luck. If you do find something that works that I didn't write then please share as my son can get really bad with it sometimes.
