Alright,
My son is about to turn 5 months here on the 14th. From day one he has been a solid co sleeper. We tried putting him down for naps on his own and he never has liked it at all.
We stricktly breastfeed and did bottles for a couple months with Breastmilk but he got a horrid case of thrush and we had to stop.
So basically his routine is when he is hungry i nurse him until he falls asleep, yet he stays latched. Like I am a pacifier. (He doesnt like pacifiers and i have tried all brands) So when he falls asleep after eating he stays latched to me breast and body. I try to put him down and move and its hit or miss if he wakes up when I move or set him down.
Well with that being said and me being the human pacifier, my husband and I agreed on starting sleep training the 1st of april (a couple days ago). We havent tried night sleeping yet, but so far we have tried the cry out method. I feed him and make sure he is burped and has a new diaper on. The last couple days it has been hit or miss on how long he cries it our but usually its no more than 10-30 mins. Even then he only sleeps from 1 hr- 3. I need help because it hurts me to hear him cry and he crys because he is so attached to me.... any ANY advice would be helpful. I just want this easy on my little man and myself.
