Having been disappointed by christian friends for so many times is becoming harrder to deal with. Im not sure how to handle it this time. Yes the Word of God teaches us to forgive and I always do. But as I grow older Im just wondering....when is it about me this time. Why am I always trying to please others? Why am I always willing to take the punches and not even telling them how I really feel all because I do not want to loose them as friends. I feel I am fake and a coward!

I find it really hard to trust people. Any advice?

If you are not comfortable in who you are or you feel fake then you can not continue being you. These people are not your friend if they do not like your opinion or input on things. Friendship is to talk about things good and bad and support each other from the heart. If you are frightened to do this then that is not a friendship.

You only have one life and you need to live it as you. No more being put upon, no more scared to say. You are a strong woman, who is entitled to an opinion and is not afraid to tell someone when they are wrong.

sorry for late reply..thanks for your response and I agree. Its a process and Im working on it. Lately i have started being more open and assertive. And whats so wonderful is that the fact is you loose some and then again you gain new friends. I also discovered that I need to work on my personal issues. But once again thank you for your advice.
