You pretty much need to know when you ovulate. Lets say you ovulate day 13 of your cycle, have sex on day 9 and 11. Male sperm dies quicker but swims faster. Female sperm can live up to 72 hours but they are slower therefore by having sex further from your cycle has a higher chance of resulting in a girl. Worked for us and a few friends i've told. I now have a 2.5yr old son and 10 month old daughter:)

i have a one year old boy too and would like to have a girl also and only want 2 kids! i would love to hear what others have to say!
i did hear that female sperm live longer, so it's better to have sex a few days before ovulation because male sperm only live 24 hours.
you can also try the chinese gender prediction calender too. just google it. (it is supposed to be 90% accurate, but for me that is not high enough)

I have two girls...I *think* I got pregnant with me being on top both times. I was also about 12 days into my cycle. Mine were 30-33 day cycles around the time I got pregnant both times. With my youngest, I thought I was just getting longer cycles since they had been getting a day or two longer each month.
Either way, just be happy you have healthy and happy children...that is the best you can ever want.

i know just how you feel we are wanting a girl too and i have done ATON of studing about everything and some things you can try (we were going to try also) try having sex with a pillow so it pushes your cervex and stuff to lean back and also the female sperm does last longer i think about 4 days to a week in your body and have sex before you ovulate a couple of days before its fully mature also i was going to get several months worth of ovulation test and get the average of when your eggs are mature and then keep that posted on your callender and then another thing is to try not to try me and my husband are pregnant now and we wernt trying at all what so ever lol so the sperm that did it wasnt actually from his egaculation (sp) there is sperm thats in his pre juices not many but thats what happened with us and we just had our 20 week sono and couldnt find out the sex ive had a huge feeling from the start it was a girl and dreams the same as well and we just took a gender test (weird i know) and that said girl also but i wish you luck other than that prayers you really cant do to much other than the listed above unless you have the great good amount of money to do gender spacific changings

You guys are crazy! lol
You should be happy with the gender you get.I would love to have a boy (I have a 15month old baby girl). But you can not really decide of the gender.
Have sex, hope for the best, and love whatever gender you end up having! That is the best thing I can tell you!

i have two girls and am expecting again we wanted a little boy but have decided that we really don't care in lots of ways another girl would be easier because we're already doing the girl thing a boy would be fun but it really doesn't matter every baby is a blessing and once they place your baby in your arms you'll be head over heals in love. I understand wanting one of each but try not to be disappointed if you get two of a kind! cause really who wants to feel disappointed in their children.

I have heard of Gender Kits. I don't know anybody who has ever got one but they are suppose to work. You can google it and look into it.. Im going to look into it because we have two girls and really want a boy next. Good Luck!!

There is a book out called "How to choose the sex of your baby". You can but it on Amazon for under $4. Don't know if it really works, but there are scientific things that seem to support the theories, though nothing is guarenteed. If you want a guarentee then you need to adopt. :) My SIL gave it to mee when we were trying for #3. We had 2 boys and wanted a girl. We ended up with a girl, but it was only after giving up and accepting that it wasn't meant to be (tried for 2 years, then 4 years after that we ended up with our daughter). For us it was nothing to do with the book, but God's timing. Good luck.
