How do you entertain your twins inside your home once they hit their first birthday?

I have 2 girls who are 11-mnths old and right now I have 3 stations for them. Family room, I have the Bounce Chairs (with a TV in that room), Living Room there are 2 swings and also I have the Play yard Fence (or I like to call it the open Play pen). So when they get bored I can move them from station to station. Real soon they won't be able to use the swings and the Bonce Seats. Now what? I certainly can't put them in the Play pen all day? I was thinking of taking one section of my Living Room and gating it off to make it their play space. This is all new to me, I've always worked all my life and only stayed home with my 6-yr old son for four months and was going to try and stay home with them until they turn 3. I don't know how to fill their day so that they don't become bored. If anyone can give me some insight, I would certainly appreciate it. Thanks!

Well, certainly weather is a concern...Hadn't even added that to the equation, really, and understand the desire to stay cool! (Especially if you're close to the midwest...or my area)

I also wanted to make sure it wasn't a sensitivity issue, either to sunlight or temperatures.

and 11 months...an extremely active and inquisitive age...Let me think a little. By us chatting back and forth, it keeps this up on the main board longer, so more will see, and soon you'll have some excellent suggestions. In the meantime, I'm in "toddler entertainment mode" and I'll let you know what I come up with!

Thanks so much Shawnn for your response...I should probably tell you that I take them for a walk (every day or as much as possible) as soon as I drop off my son at Day Camp and then we come home. I have considered bringing them to the park but because the weather has been extremely hot, I try to stay away from the Park until later in the day. I'm sure once the weather cools off, that will definitely be worked into my schedule. I'm just having a hard time with entertaining them while we are indoors.

why is it imperative that you remain indoors? Why not start a routine of going to the park, on outings around your neighborhood...
