How do you get motivated to clean house??

I am a stay at home/ work at home mom. I work for a company run off of a smart phone so i just have to answer calls randomly through out my day. I have twin 2 year olds that are just a complete mess, and my husband usually doesnt get home until 7ish. He gets home to eat, help me get the boys to bed and then we both crash. I also have a 7 year old thats just finishing 1st grade. Hes a good boy, but hes still a kid and thus more work for me to cover. Ive noticed lately that as soon as i get my house cleaned up something out of the ordinary crops up and has to be dealt with, like a sickness, or a home repair. By the time it passes my house is a disaster and i feel so overwhelmed that i pretty much give up until my husband cant stand it and assigns one day of the weekend to work together to catch up. I appreciate his help, and i beleive all should do their part in the family to help out like that, but i also feel like im just not keeping up with my part in the family. My husband deserves to come home to a clean house! I get so discouraged with the kuds going behind me and messing everything up. Or as soon as i get my hands soapy in the dishwasher a call from work comes in and i never make it back to the dishes. Please!!! Tell me what helps you find the strength to get things done at home when it feels like all forces are working against you!!!

Routine. We get up have breakfast, get dressed I get the kids doing something preferably outside and do a few chores every day that need to be done (laundry and dishes every day). I dustbuster after tea so if I don't bring out the dyson one week my house won't get overrun with cockroaches. Cleaning up stuff is part of the routine for the kids too pack up toys before their nap and dinner, dinner, bath, watch tv until bed time or play with something then pack it up before bed. Washing gets folded as soon as it comes off the line and put away. Rubbish goes in the bin straight away.
