How do you keep up your milk supply while nursing a 4-year-old? Neither of us want to stop nursing (-: .

Sara, thank you so much for the link! I literally was just about to e-mail you & ask why every time I write my question, there are no communities for me to select. The only two available choices were "Select a community," which gave nothing more to click, & the "Welcome to Circle of Moms" section. That's probably why my question didn't post correctly the first time. So thank you VERY much (-:!!

Milia-you should definitely post in breastfeeding moms! You're going to get a lot of rude responses on here! I know their is an herbal supplement you can take to increase your supplement. Please don't let any ones responses discourage you!

You should probably try to wean your child before they go to pre-school. I agree it is a great bonding moment but children are not meant to continue breastfeeding. The only advice I could give as to keep up your supply is the same as if you had a newborn - express often. But also seek a breastfeeding association for their advice.
