Well, it took me almost a year, but now I actually weight about 15 pounds less than I did even before having Violet. I did Weight Watchers, the Core plan (now called filling foods, but its the same thing just a new name). I have always used WW when needing to loose weight and I have now lost over 50 pounds in the last year. I lost it slowly eating healthy foods and I didn't feel deprived because there's room to treat yourself occasionally in the plan.

Mummy magic weight loss tea was the perfect that helped me reducing 37 pounds just in a couple of months. I started the tea right after two months pp and within next two months was happily back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Now 135lbs, perfect for me.

Are you looking to get healthy, lose weight, improve your energy? Sounds great, right?
Let me tell you a little background on how I got here. My husband and I started the program in May of 2013. We were truly shocked at how easy this was and amazed by our results! I lost 20lbs in two months, and he lost 40lbs in 3.5 months.
If the pounds weren't enough to make me thrilled, loosing 4 inches in my butt and hips had me ecstatic! haha. The best part is we haven't gained it back. Our view on food is different and we are more active.
It was so incredibly easy to keep on board with the program. There is less than 5 min. prep time for the food, some are just open and go! I loved that I could toss a snack in my purse and not rely on finding a "healthy choice" on the go. Not to mention, cooking once a day was a nice break.
Well, one thing leads to another and I decided to be a health coach through Take Shape For Life after I did the program. I want to help others create a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable. I've included my website in case you want to reference it at a later time.
You can see all of the meal options, read more about what this program is and what it entails at the website below. Stop by my facebook page and feel free to email me any questions. I am completely honest and open and want to help you reach your goals. Did I mention my health coaching service is free?!!!!

I use myfitnesspal.com and it's WONDERFUL - it really tells you what you need to cut out and add. For me it was cheese and get off my butt which btw I do now. Most days M-F I'm at the Y for 2 hours - yes I know but I put it on and I have to take it off no one else is going to do it. I first started walking on the treadmill for 30 min til I got to 65 min - then did the incline thing....I had to go to the elliptical bc I started having achille issues. Now I use the elliptical for 65 min, then the treadmill for 65 min and then selected weights (weights that hit target areas that I need to focus on). Once your body gets use to it I changed it up Day 1: elliptical for 65 and weights; Day 2: 65 min on treadmill; Day 3 30 min elliptical, 30 min treadmill and weights Day 4 is 45 of one or the other and Day 5 all of the weights in the workout room. I've lost 40 lbs initially and life got in the way gain 10 back......go slow and steady....if you don't have a place check out mapmyrun.com (no you don't have to run, LOL) you can map your area to see how far in miles you walked.

When it's nice out i go for an almost 4 mile walk with my baby and his father. If it's bad out I do fit on demand from my tv. This might sound weird but I do the playboy workouts..Bridget and Holly's 2 workouts have helped me a lot but I do jumping jacks in between the little excercizes for extra cardio. The Jillian Michaels workouts have worked for me as well but they're an hour long so it's hard to find time. From doing all these things I went from 140 to 108..but in a matter of 7 months(but i didn't try to lose weight until my son was 2 months old.)
After reading the posts on a similar thread I joined weightwatchers online. It just helps me think about what Im eating and drinking and how much I exercise. Its worked pretty well so far - I guess a cheaper way to do it would be to just start a food diary but I like that the online tracker tells me how I am going at acheiving my daily 'point' target and tracks my weightloss over the weeks. Like I said, its not necessary but Ive found its helped.

WALK!! Its amazing what walking can do-throw 1 or 2 hills into and and eat healthy and watch the weight fall off.
the bigger my son got the further i walked...pushing a pram up a hill does wonders.
my son is a lil over 2 now and i weigh less then i ever hv, i find chasing him around day in day out nd walking along with breastfeeding slimmed me down FAST.
now ive lost the weight i go to the gym 4times a wk to tone my body.

My daughter is 1 and I'm finally back to my prepregnancy weight (actually less). I found that counting my calories worked really well, I took smaller portions and tried to snack on fruit and veggies and less crackers and cheese. Look for a calorie counter to figure out how much you should be eating. I aimed for about 1500-1700 per day. Then lots of exercise. I used Turbo Jam Cardio workout and Prevention Fitness Dance it off videos and alternated days. It was easy to do while my daughter was napping. Find an activity you enjoy and give'er. Remember it can take a year to 1.5 years to get your body back. If you're breastfeeding don't diet too much just eat healthy.

I found I've put on weight coz I am just not getting out there, try putting ur bub in the pram and walk to the shops or walk around the shops if its too far, my best investment at the moment is my wii fit. i can't get out of the house much, so i use that, there's jogging, stepping, yoga, muscle workouts the lot, a bit output but it tracks ur weight an everything everyday. I dont like that fact it does ur bmi, not liking that one bit. but overall it's the best thing for me

I recommend Parent's Magazine Mom and Baby Fitness DVD. It's a hard workout, I can feel it afterwards, but it's like playtime for baby. When my son was about 4 months old, we started doing it, and he loved it! It is exercises for mommy (yoga and pilates) while interacting with baby or even using baby as a weight, and also includes baby massage and baby yoga. It's a lot of fun, and doesn't feel so much like working out, because it's playtime with your baby. It's got one hour long workout, and 4 short 20 minute workouts.

If your recently postpardum then just start with making sure that the calories you take in are complex and not empty and that you don't acceed what you need to feed you and baby if you are breast feeding. Drink only purified water. It will help to detoxify your body daily helping to realease unwanted fat. Try to eat in smaller meals more offten with a balance of complex protiens, whole grains and lots of fresh fruits and vegies, steamed and raw. If you want to know more I am a mother of 13 and a health and weightloss coach. I coach free of charge for any one interested in taking off the weight.

I honestly lost my pregnancy weight simply by running around after my daughter and taking a half hour to hour long walk with her each day when the weather permits. Breastfeeding also helps tremendously. The weight slowly slides right off. It's amazing how many calories you burn breastfeeding!

It was extremely easy to lose my baby weight. I didn't eat crap, had 3 sensible meals per day, exclusively breastfed my baby and walked everywhere. And I've always struggled with my weight - I'm not one of life's naturally thin people!

With my first child I ate healthy and joined a gym to get into an aerobics class and went to that 6 days a week. They had a tiny day care in there. Two babies..my daughter and a little boy. When I had my son, I used the "step" aerobic tape with the huge step and did that at home...that was popular way back in 1990..lol. Eatting really healthy helps too. My husband and I also walked.

It is normal to lose 20-35 lbs right after or a month after having baby. That is the baby, fluids, and blood weight that you are losing. I have had success with slim fast for my three pregnancies. You can't start a diet if you are breast feeding. I recommend slim fast and pilates. Start with two a day and a meal, keep your calorie count under 800-900 a day total. That depends on your activity level also. Drink a lot of water! No pop, coffee, juices, etc. Just water. You'll be amazed! Gook luck!

Well, I gained quite a bit with both of my children. I gain 60lbs. with my first and 61lbs with my second. I'm 25 years old and just recently lost all my baby weight plus extra.I was 21 when I had my first. After my first it took me 8 months to get 60 lbs.off and two months after that I lost 10 more. The second time around was a lot harder, I lost 55lbs in the first 8 months just like before but it took a total of 20 months to get 80lbs off. I still want to lose 20 more. I had a lot of wieght I needed to lose before I got pregnant but never did anything about it. But it wasn't easy you really have to commit to it and push yourself like no other. Hopefully you don't need to lose as much as I did, but if you do just know YOU can DO IT!!!!! What I did was pick healthy foods I liked to eat or don't mind eating, don't try to find a diet to follow. Do something that you know is healthy and you like it. I found that eating foods you like, not eating as much as you normally do (smaller portions), discipline and of course working out at least 4 days a week will make you lose the weight. I know we all hate hearing those dreadful words but it is the only way to do it healthy and keep the weight off!! I promise you will actually have more energy and it's totally worth it. Plus you have more energy for your little one!!! Good Luck, I hope that helps.

Although the lack of sleep isn't going to be helpful in losing the weight, the one thing that works for almost everybody (female, male, baby, no baby) is grazing. Instead of eating breakfast, lunch and dinner, break your meals up throughout the day. This changes the way you metabolism works and will keep it from slowing down. This doesn't mean you can't sit down with the family and eat or enjoy a meal out with friends. We are always going out after church through the week, and even when at home, everyone knows I am going to take a few bites here and there, then pack up the rest to go home. You'll feel better if you eat enough to take away the hunger, then eat every hour or so. Our bodies are not cars. We shouldn't fill our tanks to full and go. We need to stop and fuel up continuously. Plus this gives you the opportunity to enjoy a larger variety of foods because you don't have to limit the type of foods you eat.

Louise, well my weight didn't come off fast at first either. You have to be dedicated. I stopped eating after 7p, drink water all day, no sodas. Try to walk 45 minutes or 3 miles 5 days a week. After you start getting some energy back try to add some weights to tighten up the muscles or do a Taebo DVD. That's a killer!!!!!!!!! Hope it helps...good luck!
Breastfeed. I lost about 25-30 pounds in the first 6 weeks from breastfeeding and drinking lots of water (which you're supposed to do anyways if you BF). If that's not an option, then I agree with Kimberly about the walking. Once your doctor ok's it, you can even start using your child to exercise. I used my son as my weight to do lifts lol (with both hands, of course). Whatever you do to lose weight, keep the healthy pregnancy diet (eating several small meals) and keep drinking lots of water.
