I am a firm believer in working out and making a life style change.. That truely is the only thing that works. Making wise decisions about food, working out smart and having realistic expectations. Poor diet can and will sabotage your whole workout. There are no magic pills, no easy 10 min workout's ( countless infomercials tell us there are) You truely have to make up you'r mind to be healthy and take care of yourself. No excuses, just do it. You will reach your goal if you are determined. Get help from a program or trainer if you want but in the end it all comes down to a life style change and you. I hate the word DIET because so many people go on them until they have reached there goal then stop and revert back to old habits. I prefer "life style change" because it's for life. You could also sign up for a local run or triathlon and start training now. Don't doubt yourself. You can do anything if you train and truely want to. Appreciate your body and what you are capable of. So many people have true health issues and are not able to do many things but if you can, celebrate that and don't waiste time or take your beautiful body for granted.

I put on 20kg with my pregnancy and then i bottle fed so i was really worried about not loosing the weight. Just by running around after bub I have lost all the weight plus more so i guess its a personal thing. For the 1st few months i went walking for a hour which was nice and bubby loved getting out in the fresh air and watching the trees moving.

I finally joined a gym. I gained about 15 pounds with my first child, but then i gained another 20 in the first few months of being a stay at home mom. I joined a gym and ran on the elliptical for an hour every day, lifted weights everyday-alternating upper and lower body. That allowed me to lose 20 pounds. Unfortunately I'm working on that 15 now, everytime I go to the gym now I get sick. So I cancelled it, bought a jumprope and some resistance bands and while My baby boy is in his swing I use those, while we're in the house I do the basics-squats, crunches, jumping jacks, and we walk for at least an hour every day.

Breastfeed. It really helps lose the fat, and helps get your pelvic floor strong. Continue the walking. Try to change the pase, quick small strides, then long slow strides. Do some Pilates on the mat, squats with the stroller. I am a certified pilates instructor. If you live in Miami, you could come take private Pilates with me.

I breastfed and didn't get off all of it but got most of it off. then I joined a local group of mommies and munchkins and we work out 2 times a week and that got rid of the rest and some in just under 5 mths. It is also a good thing for your sanity. Alot of your bigger cities have this type of group in some shape or form just look on the web for one. I love mine and wouldn't trade it for anything.

My problem wasn't baby weight, it was maternity leave weight. It was during halloween and the holidays and I gained my butt back that I lost while I was pregnant. I am back to prepregnancy weight after 8 months, but it is distributed differently. My breasts shrunk and my butt grew...very frustrating!!!

Well I can only tell you what worked for me. I gained 100lbs with my first, there were complications, prexclampsia (not sure how to spell), for one, so I had a lot of weight to take off. I went to weight watchers and incorporated healthy eating and exercise...I lost all of the weight. Best thing I ever did. I think you are on the right track and just need to tweak your diet and maybe change up you work out routine. Your body will get use to the same routine and will stop the weight loss...have you thought about running for a shorter distance?

I breastfed my three babies and lost the fat pretty easily with all three of them. If you're not breastfeeding, then try something small and simple at first, like take your baby for walks in the stroller at the park, or do a 15 minute pilate DVD while your baby takes a nap. For me doing this, house cleaning, bending over a million times a day to pick up toys, and running around with three children was plenty of work out to get rid of that fat!

I have barely lost any weight since my second child, because I just don't have time to work out as much as I once did. But after my first child I lost all the weight by doing something diffferent all the time to keep it fresh. I did stuff at home until I felt comfortable going to classes and things. It is important to have a workout buddy, or your not reliable. I ran, did bellydancing, yoga, water arobics, latin dance and anything to spice things up and keep it fresh. now they have classes that you bring your baby and they are like your weight, these are fun. good luck
