Yup. Even someone who doesn't use tv often has to once in a while, and this is one of those times. DOn't feel guilty, stick your 5 year old in front of some favorite cartoons or movies. Do your best with the 10 month old- do you have a pack and play that you can set up quickly also in front of the tv- maybe she'll zone too. It's not a big deal for when you're on the toilet/over the toilet. If it's the tummy bug that's going everywhere, I totally feel for you- very violent, very fast, hard to keep anything in. But, it was fairly quick- within 12-24 hours the puke and runs stopped and it was just feeling crappy. Good luck supermom and feel better soon!

Turn on the tv, find a program or movie to keep the 5 year old occupied. Have the 5 year old help with the 10 month old. Try to get everything you need for the day to the general vicinity of where you are going to be whether it be the couch or bedroom so it minimizes the amount of time you are fetching stuff. Explain to your daughter you don't feel well offer her a very special treat if she is on her very best behavior. Put the 10 month old in a pack n play or exisaucer and try to rest as much as possible.
