How is my cycle supposed to work again? O_o

I recently (5 months ago) had my second child via cesarean. They also did a tubal. The problem I am facing is I am menstruating twice a month and have been since 1 month after I had my daughter. I don't remember what my cycle was like after I had my son (Now 2 yrs). Do I need to speak to my doctor about this? When I spoke to him about it at my 6 week check up, he said it was normal but that was then. My aunt thinks I might become anemic. Do I need to be concerned about this?

Each woman's body is different, and your body may respond differently after each pregnancy. So there may not be a "normal" for you to compare against. It may be something that will regulate on it's own, or you may have to get on the pill or something to regulate it. If you're concerned, by all means talk to your doctor. If you ever question what your doctor is telling you, get a second opinion from another doctor. It's your body, and you have a right to as much information as you can get.

Are you taking multivitamins? If you are concerned about your cycle, there is never any harm in talking to your doctor.
If you have cold hands/feet, have dark rings around your eyes, or are feeling sluggish, you may have anemia and it might be a good time to talk to your doctor about it. A simple blood test will tell.
For the most part, having two periods a month SUCKS, but it could possibly mean nothing is wrong. It may be a thing you'll have to put up with if you dont want to take birth control.
