i was told drinking it with orange juice mixed in, but when i asked my midwife she was horrified! she said it can dehydrate baby and make you sick, there's a spice they put in curries called fenugreek, it tastes pretty bad but it worked for me, my partner put nearly half a jar of it in our spag bol one night and 4 hours later i was at the hospital, its also good for increasing milk production if you want to breastfeed :)

it did work for me or my frind, just gave us tummy runs. you can google some other thing you can try to induce natural laboour. going for long walks if you can, eating half an pineapple and other stuff like that.

I'm gonna hear about this one but here goes.
Here's a thought: When baby ready, baby come.
Had 4 and never took no castor oil or nothing.
Mostly, just relax if you are miserable and wait. The whole birthing thing is a natural process. You can no more hurry the end then you can the beginning. You can only try when you are most fertile. Your body will start the birthing process when things are ready, not because your brain says you are fed up with the situation at the moment.
At least, this is the way I see things.
Just saying . . .

It will make you sick pretty quickly, so if your going to do it stick close to the toilet, whether or not it actually induces labour is debatable. Some women say it does and others say it just makes you really sick. But it can be dangerous to both you and bub because you can both become dehydrated. I didn't do it myself because I had heard so many horror stories from friends. Sex, nipple stimulation, walking and skipping are much safer. Is this your first baby? are you over due?
