The healthiest for your body is pregnancy after 18 months since you gave birth, but before 5 years. But when you have child 2, your attention will be forever divided anyway. baby 2 never experiences babyhood by itself. So why worry? I'm hoping to have another baby soon. But it seems that I just can't get pregnant with all the breastfeeding I'm doing. I do not plan to wait 18 months. It has already been 12 months and 13 days so far. I feel ready enough. I want children close in age, and I also want a large family. I was kind of hoping for a 1.5 year age gap to 2 year gap. I guess I will see if I get pregnant in the next 2.5 months...

I have a friend and her children are just over a year apart. and though the pregnancy was rough on her, she seems to really like that her girls are so close in age.

Usually they say a 3-5 year difference between the two is good. With mine my first one is 5 and my second is 18 months
