I have been pretty sucessful with toilet training my just turned 3yr old over the last month. We still put a nappy on him at night untill 2 weeks ago when he was waking up dry so we stopped with the night nappys aswell. The first week went really well but the last week it has been every night he wets the bed at some stage. We always make sure he wee's before bed and have lately been waking him through the night to take him wee's aswell so just wondering how many of you still need to put nappys on your 3yr olds at night and how long have you been doing it for? I know I have to be patient with this just wondering if others have had this experience aswell?

He is still very little with a very immature bladder. You need to let his tiny body mature and that is when he will make it through the night. He could be ready next week or he may wet the bed till puberty. There is no right or wrong it is simply when their bodies are mature enough.

Also it is STRONGLY recommended to NOT wake them at night all this does is give them broken sleep and will not prevent them from wetting at night.

My friends son didn't stop wetting the bed till he was 10, my other friends son is 7 and still wears pull ups at night.

My oldest didn't stop wetting the bed till he was 5, were my youngest was night trained at 26mo's.
